I have been praying for weeks for my desires and intentions of proposing to her to be my wife and spend my lifetime with her. I know I don’t have money to buy an engagement ring but I believe that its not a hindrance. I was so hesitant and afraid to ask her of getting married because she will be leaving for a 2-year mission to the Middle East. I know deep in my heart that I love her and she is the one but I didn’t have the guts to ask. I know that what I feel is real but I still felt negative about it. It took me two weeks to prepare and made sure that my intentions are sincere, pure, and true. Days flew so fast that it was during the day of her departure that God granted me the strength to finally ask “The Question”. She was packing her stuff for the mission and we we’re talking about how we’ll communicate since I’ll be going back to the mission in China/ Mongolia as well. Then unexpectedly, I asked her the most awaited question…” will u marry me?”

She was shocked, speechless! Then I heard her sweet voice saying “YES”. Out of nowhere, she laughed and randomly asked “so, where’s the ring?” Then I hugged her and we both cried.
